Enhancement is often used as another word for treatment.  However, it has a broader meaning as well.  Enhancement also refers to the faceting and polishing of a gem.

Treatment is the standard term used in gemolgical literature for any process done to improve the appearance of a gemstone, except cutting and cleaning.

My mom was in the mood of forgiving him that day , after all it was her birthday and she new that my brother would take care out for a nice dinner. As she was emptying his pockets she noticed a long box  it was wrapped with a beautiful gold color paper and attached with a note and it said, “Mom, you are the best and I love you forever, Happy Birthday! from Jack. She opened the box there it was a beautiful 14k white gold diamond  bracelets. As she walked over to give my brother a thank you kiss, she said, “Honey, I love you too, and I think I can even put up with emptying your kids pants pockets for as long as I live.”
