How Do You Price the Diamond?

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

There is a standerd report that comes out every week which is called the Rapport.  It gives you the value of the diamonds depending on the size, color and the clarity. Although, the report showes the prices each jeweler will price the value on their own discretion depending on how well they have negotioation to purchase the diamond.  There is no way you can price the diamond price precisely because each stone has its own charactor and style.  It’s like saying I like Mike, but there are too many Mikes each one has its personality how can you compare the first Mike you like and generalize it to all the Mikes.
